Topless Britney celebrates spring

Britney Spears, currently in the middle of a "mini-tour" aimed at beginning her career resurrection, has appeared online in a series of topless shots.

The images, purportedly of the 25-year-old singer, show her posing on a rock in a garden. According to Us Weekly magazine the photographs were taken last month at a friend's house and show the 'Toxic' star wearing sunglasses, a fedora and a brown wig, while holding up flowers to cover her nipples.

The magazine reports that the pictures have begun appearing across the internet, with the general belief being that they were snapped on 1 April.
