Rei Kikukawa Shows Her Big Boobs

"Intelligent idol" Rei Kikukawa has seen her career skyrocket due to her appearance in a bra commercial that has created a lot of buzz about her bust, according to Shukan Post (4/27).

Kikukawa, 29, got her break in the fickle Japanese entertainment world because she was a graduate of the Engineering Faculty at Tokyo University, Japan's most revered academic institution and hardly the place that creates "aidoru," who are, to put it nicely, not normally known for being intellectual whiz kids.

Part of Kikukawa's appeal has been selling herself for her brains, but a recent ad she did for bra maker Wacoal Corp. now has everybody talking about her body; and particularly the final scene in the commercial, which features a close-up of her bosom.

The ad was for a bra called Lanlan, one of Wacoal's latest products. The ad was originally supposed to run from February through to mid-March, but plans have changed.

"Reaction to the ad has been so phenomenal, we started running it all over again in a campaign that began April 13," a TV network executive says.

Though Kikukawa has been a swimsuit model and the campaign girl for a number of products, she is not known for flashing her flesh.
